Service Delivered by People or Equipment

Services delivered by people are services run by people such as repairing laptops and computers or retail workers helping consumer find goods in store. These services can also be workers at hotels cleaning rooms or front desk workers helping guest with room problems. Service by equipment rarely need any marketing and can be used in replace of people such as the movie projector at movie theaters or self-service technology at grocery stores or airport check ins.

For-profit or Nonprofit

For-profit service seek to establish a relationship with consumer so the consumer will come back and repurchase the products. Non-profit services help to meet the need of a community or consumer these include salvation army, cheap donated cloths sold at a low cost, or outward bound a organization offering outdoor education. Anther non-profit includes Girl Scout, aspiring young girls to chase their dreams and become strong and confident. Non-profit work towards a goal, and use creative marketing techniques to reach their goal and a broader audience.

Government Sponsored

Government sponsored service are services the Government offers to help the consumer and make their life easier. One example is the  US Postal Service.
