Intermediaries make the flow of products from suppliers to consumer a easy process. Intermediaries include Wholesaler, Retailers, Brokers, Middleman, Distributor, and Dealer. These functions help the product flow directly from supplier to consumer or help with products flowing to other store such as TJ Maxx or REI tat sell lots of different type of brands. So how is this helpful to you, a consumer? By having the products and services easily accessible to the consumer at different store and locations. 

Intermediaries help company have fast delivery by having a successful supply chain management system. the better the system the faster you product is delivered to your door step, the faster the shelves are stocked and you can buy the product. They also help with location successful for store so consumer can have easy access to store closer to their house. With intermediaries the value for consumer go up creating stronger consumer product relationship and and marketing channels to better benefit consumer, and suppliers.
